2020 Rosé of Pinot Gris | Klindt Vineyard
Special Release, limited production.
Rosé is often produced as an afterthought…grapes that didn’t make the barrel for feature wines, leftover pickings that weren’t needed, etc.
Not this rosé.
Grown, picked and selected intentionally for rosé, these grapes were fermented in a concrete egg. The fruit hales from the Klindt Vineyard in the Deep End of Anderson Valley, where the cool climate elevates peak ripeness but allows for lower alcohol production.

These rocky soils, coupled with the cold climate of the Deep End, cause the vines to struggle and naturally limit production to small amounts of intense fruit.
