For those that tend to prefer an unoaked Chardonnay or search for lighter whites, Chenin might be just what your taste buds have been searching for.

It has the nose of something sweet, a delicate mouthfeel & a bone dry finish.

2022 Saini Farms Chenin Blanc | Dry Creek Valley

Leo Hansen (of Leo Steen) is the King of Chenin. He has crafted this incredibly beautiful, minerally chenin for our wine portfolio.

The grapes are from The Saini Ranch vineyard in the Dry Creek Valley.

This is flagship Sonoma County wine, sourced right here in our backyard in Healdsburg.

Spontaneously fermented. Unfiltered and unfined.

Tasting notes: Pale yellow in color. Showcases a subtle honey and crisp citrus-fruit nose. Quince paste, orange blossom, chamomile, jasmine, straw with a body and mouthfeel of delicate neutral oak. Light, yet with a strong concentration to it. Bone-dry finish.

We like to call Chenin, "breakfast wine" but it goes perfectly with almost anything light and creamy. Its acidity makes it a welcome partner to spicy or asian cuisine.

Fermentation: Stainless steel 1 mo + neutral french oak for 6 mos

Total cases produced: 110

One Wine | Two Labels

% Alc by Vol: 13.0%

Winemaker: Leo Hansen
